Our Mission

We are dedicated to fostering a nurturing fun environment where underprivileged children, foster children, unhoused children, or children living in poverty feel included, safe, and celebrated. Our goal is to create lasting, positive memories that will shape their lives for years to come.

Our History

With decades of experience in coordinating and crafting events and memorable experiences for clients, friends, and family, we are now dedicated to channeling our expertise toward children and youth who may not have had the chance to be celebrated before.

Why is it important to us that underprivileged children are given the opportunity to celebrate their birthday?

It’s quite simple, a birthday party is a day to celebrate them. The day they arrived here in the world, a precious gift from above. If we do not allow them to feel celebrated the day, they were born we are not demonstrating the importance of self-love.

What types of events does Something to Believe In host?

We have been working with the non-profit City Without Orphans; we have offered “Birthday Parties in a Box” on their Fostering Connections board. And recently we helped host a party in their youth lounge for their new quarterly birthday celebration. This group of older foster youth may never have had the chance to celebrate their birthday before so we hope to continue to work with them quarterly.

How can you help?

We accept donations of party decorations, paper products, utensils, soft drinks, gift cards, and monetary donations to provide pizza or catering along with desserts for the group.
